I have worked in the youth justice and mental health sectors for over 20 years in various roles within non-profit community-based agencies. During this time, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with many adolescents, young adults, and parents/caregivers as they navigated very difficult times. Over the years, I have been fortunate to engage in numerous evidence-based training and certifications which have informed my integrated approach and allowed me to support individuals, couples, and families coping with a variety of situations impacting their quality of life.
Now in the private practice sector, I look forward to getting to know individuals, couples, and families by listening to their stories and by working together to develop an understanding of their experiences and identifying strategies to help them feel better.
I am a Psychotherapist (Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers- OCSWSSW) and hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology. I hold Trauma Practitioner certification and am trained in several therapeutic modalities listed in the “My Approach” section.
